I hate it when I feel sick

I don’t know about you, but along about this time of year in the late winter, I really start to go a little bit stir crazy. One of the problems that I have in the wintertime is the way the house just starts to feel stuffy and the indoor air quality seems to go down. I guess that’s because you have to keep the furnace system running all winter and the air inside your house is never really fresh. I’m one of those people who loves to open up the windows and the doors and let the house air out in the springtime. I think that’s when the indoor air quality is the best – when you can let in nature’s air conditioning, so to speak. But since the winters in the area where we live are long and cold, I don’t get to use nature’s air conditioning very much! We end up using our heating system for a good seven months out of the year, to tell you the truth. I am actually thinking about getting one of those whole home air purification systems installed to run in tandem with our furnace system. I’m thinking that maybe an air purification system would help me with the lack of indoor air quality during the winter. I mean, if I can’t keep the windows open because of the cold temperatures outside, at least I can have an air purifier to make me feel better! I’m going to talk to my husband about it, and I’m pretty sure I can get him to agree with me. If the spring doesn’t come in the next two weeks, I’m calling the HVAC company to come give us an estimate.
