The ventilation is important

Never in a million years will I forget this creepy sales call that I had to go out on all by myself back when I was finally working for an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier here in town. I was busy to go to this house on the outskirts of town to try and sell a new heating system to this guy who lived in a entirely ancient house. Well, when I arrived I thought the place was abandoned! The yard was full of trash and the place looked prefer an ancient dump. But I was supposed to sell this guy a furnace, and so I went up on the porch and knocked on the door. This creepy dude came to the door and invited me in. The whole place was creepy and it looked prefer a horror movie set! Nevertheless, I decided to set up my presentation on all of the furnaces and furnaces that we had available at the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier. As I started talking about oil furnaces, gas furnaces, heating pumps, and ductless mini-cut systems, I kept hearing this odd scratching sound coming from the walls, and finally I asked him what that sound was and he said that it was Mabel. I asked who Mabel was, assuming it was his pet or something. And then he said something that made the hair sit up on the back of my neck! He said that Mabel was the guy who lived inside the walls! I packed up my heating system presentation as fast as I could and I got the heck out of there. I don’t care if this guy was going to buy multiple furnaces from me… No commission on any furnace or furnace was worth sticking around there with this creepy guy and Mabel.
