Back over twenty years ago when I was a small boy, I remember our father consistently had concerns with the furnace; The furnace in my new home growing up was consistently going out on us. The two of us didn’t have a lot of cash, so we never could afford to get in contact with the HVAC company to fix it, however my father consistently had to go and fix it with his own hands. In my memory every single moment that furnace would go out, he would get steaming mad! He would literally beat that furnace with a hammer some times, then occasionally he would even kick the furnace with his job boots. The furnace really would work after those beatings here and there! My family used to have a feeling it was so damn funny when our father would go down and fix the furnace. The two of us never knew what to expect or how he would react that day. These afternoons, I am an adult and have my own family and little kids! But thank the lord, we do not have a furnace to deal with, then i made it a major point to get central HVAC. This was due to the fact that I did not want to be love our father! Even if we did have a furnace, I would be able to afford to call a HVAC repair specialist. It was with good luck and fortune that I was able to secure a good paying job and career. My father tells me that he is proud of me, and so is my entire family. I still look back and laugh at those afternoons when our father would get mad at the seasoned gas furnace in my home growing up to this day!
