We would travel up and down the country and do anything that sounded fun all day.
I absolutely appreciated seeing our Grandparents the most who lived a few states away. One of the biggest things that got under my skin on our travels was the fact that the a/c wasn’t finally working in the van for the longest period. Every one of us had to ride around with the windows down just to catch a few breezes. On days when we were unlucky, we even experienced times when the van would overheat. I was cheerful when I told my Grandparents about it being absolutely terrible in the car because the cooling system was totally broken down. After I said this my Grandfather was really genuinely anxious when he heard this as well as he knew just what to do to remedy the problem. He ended up taking my mother to this auto parts store where they were selling used cooling system refrigerant kits. Carefully,, they filled up the refrigerant to the cooling program in the van, as well as before the two of us knew it, the a/c in the van was finally working as if it was brand new! I mean that cooling program was letting out ice-cold air, we were able to keep the windows shut as well as the two of us enjoyed the refreshing cool air during our travels to different states. This was a huge relief when the two of us traveled around the country some more as well as went to see other relatives as well as interesting sites. That’s something I always remembered about the a/c in vans, that the refrigerant can run out, and it must be refilled to get the cooling program to work the way it is designed. I have done this a few times in our own car, as well as it has always worked well for us!
