Let me put it this way, I’m one of those people who always tries to save currency on things, but I’m always looking for an enjoyable sale or a coupon, especially when it comes to things that enjoy our HVAC plan in addition to doing HVAC repairs or updates.
I knew that the ventilation ducts in our lake house actually needed to be cleaned out, because I haven’t had the air ducts cleaned once since all of us moved into my house about seven years ago! I assume that sounds disgusting, but having clean air ducts has never actually made it to the top of our priority list for some reason… Anyway, I wanted to scrub out the ventilation ducts but when I looked online at our local heating and cooling official website, I thought that the pricing was way too much.
I mean, how hard can it be to vacuum out your air ducts in addition to your air conditioning vents? Well, I figured out that it’s absolutely hard! I started off strong, sucking the dust and dirt out of the heating vents in the upstairs bathroom, but then when I wanted to clean the air vents on the ceiling in the hallway, I had to get a hold of a ladder. I ended up almost breaking our ankle when I fell off the ladder while trying to get to the rear of the last air vent! Turns out that paying an HVAC service tech is not the worst plan in the world, no matter what the cost is.
