I truly do wonder if my colleagues at my place of work will ever figure out it was me who let the boss in on what has been ruining the office.
But, it had to be done plus I honestly don’t care.
I answered a simple question when I was asked. The Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C equipment setting in our office was so heavily contested that it was creating a massive rift in people that I consider not just co-workers but also buddies. But the office has devolved into a petty location all over the ridiculous Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C equipment setting. I understand, as I also have a job there as well, that truly working in an uncomfortable environment is not the best situation. It has become a tipping point for people with polar opposite personalities to have at each other. The clashes are becoming far more frequent plus people are starting to take everything personal. So when our boss asked me what was going on with me, I just told him exactly what was going on. He was aware that there was some disagreement over the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C equipment settings but had no idea of how far it had gone. The boss spent a little while really looking into the situation plus that convinced him that there had to be necessary action. I’ll deliver him a lot of credit for how he handled it. First, he had the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C equipment people come in plus convert the existing HVAC to a zone controlled system. This way, people were permitted to group together by comfort level. However, he went a step further plus started office wide talks to address the underlying contentious drawbacks. I applaud him for that because he is solving a short term concern while aiming to solve a long term concern.
