Leave the repairs to professional technicians and enjoy the benefits of a/c care program

Well, in summary, the technician identified all the issues and booked me in for a comprehensive service

Being an electrical engineer, I believed that I could do all my household mechanical repairs with little to no assistance. In an attempt to improve my indoor air quality from a Youtube tutorial, I ended up damaging my furnace filter while trying to clear the blocked airway for the furnace. Luckily, there is an indoor comfort business close by so I just called them immediately, and a technician was sent over to inspect the damage. Little did I know I opened a can of worms when he inspected further. So my office uses an old model gas furnace, and the motor had lost its grip as well, so that was another cost. Fearing for the worst I told him I might be unable to afford immediate replacements and he advised me that I should have mitigated that by subscribing to an a/c care program that offers regular check-up for a monthly fee. Well, too late for that, I thought. At this point, I just wanted my central heating fixed, otherwise, I’d have to rely on the electric heater, for a while and that does me no good. Speaking of heating, I questioned the technician about the efficiency of a gas heater during extremely cold weather since I relied on propane to power it. But that wasn’t going to be a problem as long as propane is available. However, this problem at hand taught me to be cautious. The last time I had a technician come over was when the building required boiler repair after the pipes took a hit from the malfunctioning heat pump that resulted in a new heat pump install and a test to confirm if dual fuel system was in order. Well, in summary, the technician identified all the issues and booked me in for a comprehensive service. I am not much of a reader, but his business brochure piqued my interest with a front-page feature of a geo heat pump demonstrating its features and efficiency.
