I recently have become aware that sporadically you are not aware that you are dealing with something of low quality until you get a much better device… This was the case with my heater, because for as long as I can remember my furnace has consistently had complications, and they were often at the worst of times.
I can recognizably remember having long and freezing winters and being nice and hot due to the central heating. Only to have it turn off swiftly and become freezing and having to wait until it came back on. I didn’t realize it until much later however obviously my gas furnace had some serious problems keeping the house heated, and mostly because it would switch on and off unexpectedly. Then luckily, I had a fireplace and when the furnace would shut off I would go and lay in front of the fireplace and wrap myself in thick blankets. That seemed to keep me hot enough and I was finally able to get some sleep through the freezing days… However, when I did become aware of the problems with my furnace I decided to just get a completely new furnace rather than pay the cost of the repairs, which would have been about as much as a new furnace anyway due to all the complications with it. It wasn’t even a bad heater, it was just insanely old. I called my heating and air conditioning supplier nearby and inquired about their available heat and air conditioning products. After much discussion on heating systems and all the odd types of heating I went with a gas heater… Now all my prior heating complications are a thing of the past.
