Periodically you will try to repair something, however you end up making the problem worse, a situation appreciate this happened to me recently when I was working at our campground\, but i own a giant campground that has numerous lodges on it, each lodge has a little air conditioner in it to keep renters comfortable during the hot seasons, then last year some people rented out some of the lodges & air conditioners for a week, however when their rental week was up, they came to me & told me there were unusual bugs in some of the lodges that bite.
I investigated the lodges & found the bugs.
After doing some research, I found out that these bugs would die in drastic heat of about 130 degrees. I decided to buy numerous superheaters & put them in one of the babins overnight. I made sure the super gas furnaces would run all evening & heat up the lodges so the heat would kill the bugs; The next morning I went in the lodge to check & see how the gas furnaces did, I found the small window air conditioner completely melted in the front air vents of the window air conditioner. I was so disappointed that I had ruined a perfectly enjoyable window air conditioner. I had to go to the HVAC store & order a new little window air conditioner for the lodge. For the other lodges that had bugs, I decided to take the air conditioners out so I didn’t accidentally melt any more little air conditioners. The enjoyable side is that the super gas furnaces were able to kill all the little bugs.
