Working out at home

Eating healthy food has never been a problem for me.

I grew up on a farm, and along with my other siblings we tended the garden all year around.

We grew and ate our own corn, potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, green beans, and so much more. We weren’t vegetarian, but we always maintained a very healthy diet ,because we didn’t have any processed foods to eat. That was a long time ago, and I don’t have a bountiful garden at my disposal, nor do I work in the sun for hours every day. Nutrition is no longer enough for me, I need a more balanced health and wellness program to fight off the evils of middle age. Instead of starting off with the gym I decided i try exercise around the house first, to see how it went. I told myself if I couldn’t lose five pounds in a month then I would join a gym and try losing weight that way. From that point on I took three walks a day, and over time those walks gradually got longer and my health and wellness improved my strength and my endurance. I found some free yoga classes online, and took a couple of them in my living room. I had never done yoga before, but really enjoyed it! After a month I weighed myself again, and found that I had lost six pounds, which was over my goal! I gave myself one more month, with a goal of losing six pounds ,and if I can’t meet the goal, then I will sign up for the gym.
