Tired of chilly toes

I noticed that my house constantly felt cold.

It didn’t matter what I set the temperature control to, I was chilly.

I noticed the air liked to rise to the ceiling plus hot that unnecessary space. My feet were constantly so cold. I would wear socks plus slippers most of the year. There were times the floor felt downright icy. After investigating I deduced that the issue was my oil furnace plus level of insulation. I had to rip off the baseboards plus stuff more insulation in them. Also, my gas fireplace was old plus not able to keep the entire house warm. After thoroughly sealing up my home, I called my Heating & Air Conditioning dealer for oil furnace recommendations. My number a single priority was getting the floors warmer. The Heating & Air Conditioning contractor suggested getting a boiler system plus either hooking it right to the baseboards for baseboard heating or putting a series of pipes under the floor for radiant flooring. Since the rug was old in there anway, it made the most sense to do the hydronic heating method. It was fairly easy for the heating replacement. My partner plus I ripped up the modern floors plus the Heating & Air Conditioning contractor put the piping down. After that both of us covered everything up with rug pads plus the modern carpet. I learn online that a cement works the best plus then hardwood floors with radiant heating. I still wanted the plus feeling of rug. It hardly traps the heat at all. The whole house feels warmer since the heat stays at the lower level. I also prefer that you don’t see our condo heating system anymore.
