It’s surpassed our expectations, saving us cash on our utility bill plus being as smart as its name implies. We can also rest assured that the furnace is operating properly by checking the companion app. The app lets us think at what temperature the house is heated at any given time. The wi fi feature allows us to change the temperature settings if our schedule is thrown off for any reason, such as staying later at work. We can even adjust the setting from the comfort of our bed, just in case we’re too tepid or too cold at night. If there’s a power outage, the people I was with and I get an alert from the smart temperature control & a notification if anything throws off the normal settings. And talk about smart – it’s as if the temperature control is absolutely communicating with us when the people I was with and I get biweekly energy reports and tips on saving even more on our utility expense. We’ve constantly found our smart temperature control incredibly straightforward to operate, although some people the people I was with and I think who bought earlier generations of smart temperature controls haven’t, making the programming a bit more problematic. Finally, our smart temperature control has a feature that allows custom programming while we’re away on trip. At first I sad that it would mess up our proper schedule settings. But the trip settings are completely without non-trip 1s, avoiding confusion and reprogramming once the trip is over. The smart temperature control has completely won us over, and we’re the first 1s to encourage others to purchase 1 as well.

My grandfather started the HVAC business with his brother years and years ago, before my father was born. Our HVAC company is family-owned, as you can imagine, and my brothers and sisters work with my uncle and cousins to handle the daily operations of the business! I work as the manager of advertising and sales, while my sister works on every HVAC service technicians’ education and on the job training. My brother is the manager on the road. And there isn’t a single service visit that happens without his knowledge or the knowledge of his team. Meanwhile, my uncle is involved with all the current HVAC installations, and Dad is the head of the commercial HVAC division, usually working on the HVAC layout of a brand new business in town. He establishes the equipment list that shows all the required ventilation, heating and cooling equipment needed for the job! My mother and cousins are involved in the accounts payables and receivables department, with our oldest son also working in the AP/AR teams to ensure we are constantly clear in the books! We have staff that takes care of the incoming phone calls from distressed air conditioning system users with malfunctioning HVAC equipment, as well as prospective clients looking to install new equipment at their home or business. At that time, we work with the air conditioning system user to find things that can be done to help the situation, at least until we dispatch a technician to address their heating and air conditioning concerns in person! It can be irritating at times when you see your entire family at work and at home, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. There’s no business as compassionate and caring as a family business!

At that time, the people I was with and I job with the A/C user to find things that can be done to help the situation until the people I was with and I can get there to assess the non-really working Heating plus A/C. I was just in time

As a kid, my buddy in the house across the street was regularly into fire trucks and firefighting; so it was no surprise that when both of us grew up, he ended up becoming a  real life firefighter. He started off as just a volunteer, but after a few months following his training, he was scooped up by the county fire department as a full time firefighter.  As an area of my current line of work, I was required to research the fire department and their entire training pipeline. Naturally, he was the first person I called to tag along with, which was convenient. On the first day I was hanging out at the fire station, they were having an issue with the main heating and air conditioning device at their station. For some unknown reason, it had frozen up and just wasn’t pumping out any cool air. It was the middle of the warm season, and the average temperature in our section of the country was over ninety degrees in the afternoons. Needless to say, it was starting to get warm in their station, and when you main occupation is dealing with something as hot as fire, you always want a nice cool building to relax in while you’re on duty. Thankfully there weren’t any calls in the day, so both of us spent an hour or so trying to fix their system! Eventually, one of the other firemen discovered there was a short in one of the wires on the heating and air conditioning control that tripped a circuit breaker. Once both of us figured out where the short was, we each were able to service it and then upgrade the wire.  Soon enough, we had the heating and air conditioning device up and running, just in time for our first call.
