My djembe drum is starting to easily fall apart plus is in need of some current strings to tighten the drum head.
I will go to the local supplier later to see if they sell the strings plus do the tuning totally on my own. There are a bunch of videos on YouTube showing how to string a djembe so I am going to do it myself. We are going to do a show at the heating plus cooling appliance corporation for a business party soon plus I need my drum to be totally ready for it. I have a nice sound system plus a wonderful guitarist to perform with plus we are both truly happy about the chance to play for all of the HVAC appliance techs plus salespeople. Some of them are musicians plus we genuinely want to show them our identifiable type to see what they honestly think of it. We genuinely do a more jazz kind of performance, making up music plus songs totally in the moment. If it goes completely well, the owner of the HVAC appliance business is going to get us to do some additional shows at the other HVAC dealers in other towns. We genuinely have only been playing together for a few months but the chemistry we actually have is great plus it looks like we’ve been playing together for a relatively long time. I’ve recorded some songs plus put them online plus we’ve gotten a huge amount of views plus nice comments so it is completely exciting. I still have to do work at the HVAC business for money, but playing music is the most thrilling thing in the world to do, even if it is for free.
