The other day, I was talking with our friend about different heating and A/C systems I was considering.
He said the geothermal heating and A/C sounded great because it was quite energy efficient and would provide plenty of heating comfort even in severely cold weather.
We get some extreme winters around here but I thought a gas furnace would be ideal, then he told me I should think about getting a hybrid, and I thought he swiftly switched to talking about investing in a car. I told him that I thought about getting a hybrid car but I wanted to focus on my heating and A/C idea for now. That’s when he laughed and said he was talking about heating and A/C systems, hybrid heating and A/C systems to be exact. I actually never heard of hybrid heating and A/C systems and he explained it to me. He said these systems are basically two systems combined to give the best in heating and cooling. He said consistently an idea like this would be a heat pump combined with a type of gas furnace that uses gas, oil, or electricity. He said these were some of the hottest heating and A/C systems on the market these afternoons as well as he was surprised that I never heard of them. He made me feel embarrassed when he put it like that, but I haven’t been keeping up with all the modern technology to be honest, and so I ended up calling the local heating and A/C business as well as making arrangements to have a hybrid heating and A/C idea installed. I’m actually happy with this new system, so far it has been extremely energy efficient. The heating and A/C professionals just told me to make sure to keep up with our proper heating and A/C service so the idea will last. I’m considering enrolling into a heating and A/C service plan.
