Monday Morning, I am not feeling this 6 am start today.

I have to get my rear moving if I want to have a productive day at work.

I just want to lay here in bed and not move at all. I can feel the wonderful air conditioning blowing through the vents of the central air conditioning system. I feel before I contacted the HVAC company to have the air conditioning installed, waking up wasn’t as hard at all during the summer. The winter was hard because I just wanted to stay warm under the covers but now I just love the cool air that the A/C system brings. Maybe I’ll turn the TV on for a bit and just lay here and relax. I then can see what the weather is like and other things that are going on in the local area. The remote is across the room. How did it get over there? I have my cellphone so I can just look on there to see. It’s going to be 85 degrees outside today! The sad thing is that I work from home so I can lay in bed for a bit longer but then my workday will stretch out. I can just get on and start my job now since we have flex start times. I don’t think I’ll do that though and just daydream a bit and figure it out after. I technically have a 2 hour window to start, well only 90 minutes now but this air conditioning and laying in bed feels so dang good. Alright, I guess I should get up and get going.

A leisurely stroll around the neighborhood with the dogs and a nice cup of milk coffee have done me good.

I feel that I have recharged my batteries and ready to write some more stories before lunchtime.

It’s 14:10 now, a time of the day when I usually begin to feel drowsy and tired, but thanks to the exercise, fresh air, and caffeine, that’s not the case today. With my fingers dancing across the computer keyboard with fervor, I feel like I’ve been transformed into a well-oiled machine operating on overdrive. What is also helping me feel good is the improvement of the indoor air quality in my apartment. I never realized the impact of air quality on my overall well-being until recently. Despite having a good night’s sleep, I often woke up feeling exhausted and sluggish. It wasn’t until I reached out to the local heating and cooling provider that I discovered the magic of air purification systems and realized that overlooking air quality is a common oversight among homeowners, unaware of the impact it can have on their daily lives. I always perform regular HVAC maintenance to ensure efficient operation and continued air quality improvement, as well as keeping informed on all the new technology that is introduced into the market. Since I had my air purifier installed, I have noticed a considerable improvement in my sleep quality. All the research I have done on homeowner solutions has definitely paid off and now I’m enjoying a healthier and more comfortable living environment.

After the tumult of Election Day, the atmosphere in the city has settled, and life has returned to its normal rhythm.

I’ve just taken the dogs for a brisk walk around the neighborhood, and now I’m making progress with my writing work.

I’ve just prepared myself a nice warm milk coffee to help me get through my final hour of work until my partner comes home from work and we have lunch together. I look forward to this time of day, when we tell each other how our day went while we eat a delicious meal, knowing that soon we’ll collapse on the sofa for a long uninterrupted nap with the gentle hum of the HVAC system in the background. I’ve just had a phone call with my buddy; he told me that he has uploaded some new songs and believes we will soon be able to get weekly gigs at some of the local businesses in town. We also discussed the idea of going abroad this summer to try our music in other towns and cities. We made a list of places in which our music could work, and since we both work online for the HVAC company, we can work and travel at the same time. It’s a very exciting idea, and it’s motivating me to work harder and do extra hours, so that way I can save up more money for the trip. I need to go out later and get an air purification system, as my old one no longer works.

I recently moved to a new town and was busy settling down.

• In the process, I realized that the AC was not working.

Naturally, my body temperature is high and this means that I need a good and efficient cooling system to survive most nights. I had not spent the first few weeks in my new condo as I had it fixed. I did not have any furniture or utensils so I chose to live in a hotel. However, once I moved into my new house, it was disappointing to note that the AC was not present. My real estate agent had promised that everything was in perfect condition. On calling her, she apologized that the old HVAC system had been removed and she had not followed up on the new installation. The heat inside the house was so unbearable for me that I had to go back to the hotel for the next three days. While my furniture and most of the things I needed already arrived, I had to wait for the HVAC technician to come work on the cooling and heating system. The new HVAC equipment installation started the next day. In two days, they called me to test and confirm that the new unit worked as it should. Fortunately, everything worked as it should. The HVAC business that had worked on the project gave me the cooling technician’s number just in case something comes up. I decided to spend the last night at the hotel and move in the next day. I kept monitoring the performance of the air conditioner for the next week and everything seemed okay.

My birthday is coming up in a couple of months and my one wish is to spend the night in a dome tent.

I have been obsessed with these tents ever since my coworker raved about the one that she stayed in for her anniversary. She was so impressed with the tent that she described it as a glamping tent. The design of these tents is incredible and they feature all the amenities that you would find in a traditional cabin. They include a fireplace, Wi-Fi, flatscreen TVs, hot tub, grill, full bathroom, as well as climate control. Yes, these dome tents are fully equipped with heating and cooling units, which will make the stay much more comfortable. If you’ve ever camped in a traditional tent before, you know what it’s like to sleep outdoors with no form of air conditioning. And since my birthday is in one of the warmest months, having a tent with climate control is something that is needed. So, although the dome tent is more of a luxury camping experience, it will be the closest thing to camping that I will ever do. I have decided that air conditioning is one luxury item that I can’t live without. This means that no matter where I stay, as long as air conditioning or a climate control unit is part of the amenities, then I will be ok. Anyway, I am looking forward to camping in a dome tent as this would be one of the most unique outdoor experiences I will have. By far, this will be one of my most memorable birthdays to date.

My aunt lives in a neighboring state in one of the smallest towns that you can imagine. Currently, the town has a total of 33 residents, most of which have lived there for most of their lives. Over the years, many folks left to pursue other avenues as well as to have better living conditions. The town is very old and most of the houses were built in the late 1800s and early 1900s. And the ones that are still standing are not in the greatest of conditions. In fact, many have been left abandoned by their owners who haven’t made any attempts to move back to the town. My aunt loves her town and refuses to move elsewhere. And even though her house is old, she is very comfortable in it. Over the years, we have made some upgrades for her, and we also purchased a ductless mini split air conditioner for her because she had no A/C. In fact, most of the houses in the town don’t have air conditioners. The houses were built before residential central air conditioners became widespread. And most of the folks living in the town are on fixed incomes and can’t afford to buy air conditioners. I am happy I was able to purchase the air conditioner for my aunt, but I do wish I could find a way to help the other folks that live in the area. The Summers are only getting hotter and hotter, and in my opinion, having air conditioners is becoming a necessity for comfort during those warmer months.

So, in addition to my A/C tune up being overdue, I am behind on changing my air filter as well.

Why does it seem like time is flying by so quickly? I can remember the beginning of the year when the weather was still cold outside. And now it’s almost Summer and I can’t even explain how fast these last few months went by. So much so that I am yet to schedule my yearly A/C tune up with my HVAC technician. I usually get my A/C tune up during the Spring once the weather warms up and I stop using my central heating. It has been over a month since I used my central heating, which means I am overdue for my A/C tune up. I would like to get the tune up done before I turn on my air conditioner for the first time this year. Thankfully, the weather is still pleasant outside, so I haven’t needed to use my air conditioner yet. Aside from the A/C tune up, I will also change my air filter because I change it every 90 days as recommended by my HVAC repairman. And to be honest, I believe that it has been over 90 days since I last changed the air filter. So, in addition to my A/C tune up being overdue, I am behind on changing my air filter as well. Life has a way to get in the way and can sometimes distract you from the things that need to get done. And with time flying by so quickly, I need to get back on top of things. So, starting this week, I will schedule my A/C tune up and I will change my air filter as well.

Wow, what a soggy wet morning it was this morning when I got up.

I like a nice rain to wake up to as it cleans the streets and the air of all the dust and dirt. Now it is really humid but everything is nice and clean again, especially the streets, which can get quite dirty from all of the dogs going numero uno. When we get a heavy rain like this though it washes all that away and makes the whole town smell nice and new again. I will head out in about 15 minutes to the local business to grab a small coffee with a friend and maybe sit in the air conditioned place and enjoy a croissant as well. They have these chocolate ones that are really small and tasty, but I don’t eat them often because I gain weight quickly if I do. The heating supplier eats them every single morning and is still skinny, but for this cooling rep it doesn’t work the same. I had the same problem with pizza when I was living in NYC and eating a slice each day, the fat just started to accumulate around my waist in the matter of a few months. So anyway, today I am working in air conditioned luxury and enjoying a cool office with the help of my mini split a/c unit that I got a few months ago. I really like working in a cool room, especially during the summer when it can get up to 95 F outside and even hotter inside.

I think I will push myself to work one more hour with my writing work before going out and about.

It just rained an hour ago and it is clear now, but I see some big gray clouds looming in the distance and it could rain again soon, so I will work for another hour and watch the skies from my office window.

It’s Friday and it is going to be a busy day for me with four different jobs to do. Yes, today I’m wearing four different work hats before the day is over. Writing about HVAC technology is my first job, and then I will teach some smart thermostat programming to an HVAC student, and after that I teach volleyball on the beach and then play in the band. The band is a job but it is so much fun playing that it really doesn’t feel like work at all. We are doing a gig at a local business later and they will pay us $250 for two hours of high powered fun and music for the customers in the climate controlled bar. We also get tips and some days we will bring in an extra $100, which is amazing for just playing around having fun. My cooling tech job is getting put more and more on the back burner with all of the money we make playing in the band, and it won’t be long before I leave the HVAC company for good. I think it will be two more years before that happens though so no rush.

In five minutes the pre market trading starts, which is crazy because it is only 4 am where I lived on the east coast of the States.

That means on the west coast it is 1am and some people are up and trading stocks then.

I just watch it over here in Europe at 10am while I drink my coffee. I am sitting on 17K shares at this point and am going to try to buy more so I have an even 20K of them. And then when it hits the $5 mark I will sell the HVAC technology stock and be done with trading forever. I’ve wasted a few years doing this and ended up losing a bunch of cash, so now I am working on getting it back slowly. My dad was a heating supplier and gave us kids $100K each, and going against the advice of my mom I took it out of the bank to buy some stock in an HVAC company that was a sinking ship. But they are starting to turn things around and I am just buying more and more right now while it is cheap. They build HVAC systems for commercial businesses and are just finally starting to put out some heating and cooling devices after being a company for almost ten years. So now I will accumulate more and more when I have some extra bucks because at $.31 a share I can get a lot for my money compared to the $20 a share it used to be and where it will be again once the HVAC business gets cranking.
