Of course, this was the end of the cooling system. It was shorted out and dead. I am just happen I am not dead! And, that my home is in one piece!

I have done a lot of these market research projects before, but nothing regarding heating and a/c. This was going to be interesting! Most people in the first batch that I did were using residential heating and a/cs. This was mostly the regular thing…or so I thought. Had figured that I would just be going around all afternoon confirming that central heating and cooling was being used by everyone. Well, later in the afternoon I was quite surprised when I found a lot of folks had gone completely ductless! A lot were using space heaters, portable a/cs, as well as ductless mini chop a/cs. This was a concept that was totally new to myself and others all together! When I was speaking with each and every one of them, they were telling myself and others that going ductless was an energy saver, and that their bi-weekly utility bills had reduced by over 50 percent once they got rid of their central heating and a/cs! A few people even had radiant radiant floors for their heating, which I thought was absolutely awesome! I wish I could afford radiant radiant floors in my house! All around, this was a easily interesting labor afternoon of market research, and I l acquired a whole heck of a lot! It honestly has got myself and others thinking about possibly going ductless with my own heating and a/c.

They had portable space oil furnaces to keep them warm, while the rest of us were love a bunch of slaves on the chain gang in prison! If I wasn’t a gentleman, I truly would have went and beat the crap out of both bosses love a high university child in the universityyard after university! But, I had more class than that. I finally was able to quit that disappointing place. I did end up reporting them to the workman’s board in our city. I can only imagine what the Summer must have been love without quality air conditioning!

There are a lot of places that I visit around my town that overdo the air conditioner.

I realize that this town is in a very hot climate.

However, I have acclimated to it, and if anything, I would almost prefer no air conditioning to excessive air conditioning! There are a lot of times throughout the summer in which I will step outside for lunch, because my office building is so freezing cold that I wish to take refuge in the hot parking lot! That warm sun really feels good after having to endure an air conditioner blowing right down onto my office space as I work! Some of my coworkers think I’m crazy, but I just think the thermostat needs to be turned up a few notches. It seems to be the same in the places where I shop. One of my favorite supermarkets always blasts the air conditioner in the summer. I always know to dress as if it were in the fifties or sixties outside whenever I step inside that store. I suppose I am the odd one out when it comes to not really caring about powerful air conditioning in the south. It’s not that I could do entirely without it, it’s just that I think it’s overused. It’s the difference between pleasantly cool and teeth-chatteringly cold. At least it feels that way to me. At least I have complete control over the thermostat in my own home. I rarely set it below 75 degrees, and that’s enough for me!

I’ve learned to live without HVAC in the past.

I have to admit that it’s not something that I necessarily need.

I mean, if the house is absolutely sweltering than I would like at least some form of climate control that does not have to be central air conditioning. Sometimes, an open window and a couple powerful fans will do the trick, or at least alleviate some of the heat. I suppose that I would not willingly leave in such conditions if I had the option for central air conditioning, but I have learned that I can deal with it. There have been times in my life when I have also had to make do with little or no heating source in rather cold weather. If you find yourself in such circumstances, at the very least you need to be wrapped up in layers and have a bundle of really thick blankets, especially if it is below freezing at night and the building that you’re taking shelter in does not have very good insulation. I’ve had to endure a few nights like that. I must say that I will always prefer having some form of climate control, though I have learned to do without. Whenever I can once again get the benefit of HVAC it feels really good! Anyone can relate to having your air conditioner fixed after a week of having to endure a very hot summer without it. Suddenly, the heat and humidity is blown away by a powerful rush of cold air from the vents once more!

After two years of house-hunting and trying to find the perfect house that fit all of our needs, we finally settled down a year ago into a nice farm house.

This farmhouse is located at the bottom of a mountain and there is a lot of cool air that comes through.

Unfortunately the breeze is not helpful in the winter time because we get a lot of snow drifts but the breeze really helps in the summertime. We do not have any central air conditioning installed within our home. Hopefully we would like to invest in a central heating and cooling system and have a local hvac technician install it for us from this well known heating and cooling company. The central air system is expensive but it is an investment and it helps in the long run. It is now the beginning of July and we have not installed our window air conditioning systems yet. In the summertime we have to resort to window air conditioning systems or portable electric air conditioning systems that plug into our wall sockets because of the lack of central air. I think we are quite lucky that we have not used our window air conditioning systems because it has saved us a lot of money and energy. At night we open up our windows and we have screens in our windows so we do not get any bugs in our home. We are lucky to have a nice natural breeze, it’s a good replacement instead of using the window air conditioning unit. We are hoping that the summer weather stays like this. But we aren’t going to be as lucky. We probably have another week left until we will be able to sleep with the windows open. Sooner or later it’s going to get too hot and humid.

I can’t believe just how upset people can get over the littlest things.

My coworker was so upset that he had to travel to one of his stores to repair a heating and cooling system.

It has been very warm these past few days and the air conditioning system in the store has been running on high. I don’t understand why he was complaining so much since it is his job to make sure that all operations within the store are functioning properly. I feel like all he wants to do is just sit in the office and go on his computer. It is more common than you think when it comes to air conditioning units freezing up. I can remember this happening to my home a few years ago. Some of the reasons why your air conditioning unit can freeze up is that there is not enough proper airflow to keep the cold coil warm. Warm air from the home is needed for the coil to stay cold. For the air conditioning unit in the store I don’t think that the air conditioning unit has been maintenanced properly. I have a feeling that the air filters have not been changed monthly and the supply vents were not all the way open. Plus I don’t think that the refrigerant levels were checked. My coworker said that after hours of inspecting the air conditioning unit he could not find the problem and he was getting so frustrated that he decided to call the local heating and cooling technician. After the heating and cooling technician inspected the air conditioning unit he found that the condensate drain and there not being enough warm air going to the coil was the leading causes in the A/C unit freezing up.

Last month I had to call my HVAC technician because my system stopped working. I had never really had to call my HVAC technician because the system that I had when I moved into the house worked so well. I had central heating and cooling for as long as I lived and I never knew there was anything other option for HVAC. When I called my HVAC technician and he came out he told me that he was amazed my AC unit lasted as long as it did, and I was pretty amazed too. I told him that I didn’t know anything about HVAC and that I would do whatever he recommended to me. I decided on a ductless mini split system after everything my HVAC technician told me and I can’t believe that I ever lived without it. When I had my old AC system the top floor of my house would always be much hotter than downstairs where the AC unit was located. When I got a ductless mini split system I installed a unit in each room and now I have what is called zoned heating and cooling. I have noticed that my house is much more comfortable and I can actually feel the AC upstairs! When the HVAC technician was at my house, he also told me that I should get a smart thermostat, so I decided to go with that. I am so happy that I got a smart thermostat because I have noticed that I save a bunch of money. My HVAC bill is nearly half of what it was before when I had my central heating and cooling. Even though I had to pay a bunch of money to the HVAC technician I am actually happy that my old HVAC system stopped working.
