The summertime weather just won’t let up this year. I’m used to feeling hot and cold temperatures hover in the high 71s most afternoons in the climate I live in, but getting into the 100s in the afternoons is something I am not used to. I am not from the desert and these believe care about desert hot and cold temperatures. My reaction to our air conditioner going out Last week came as no surprise to our partner, as she has heard myself and others nervously rant about the Heating & Air Conditioning plan on more than 2 occasions. Both of us were lucky enough to score an appointment with a heating and cooling repair corporation for that same week, but the real trouble came when the serviceman serviced the plan and determined that more than 2 coils needed replacing. The only concern is that our coils are not stocked by any corporation in the space and would need to be ordered, which could take weeks. I broke down and bought a portable air conditioner that same afternoon. They have wheels and are about the same size as a crucial dehumidifier. A major advantage they have over window units is that you can arena a portable A/C anywhere in your condo as long as the air exhaust hose can reach an external window. This means that you can make them task with your existing furniture setup in your condo and aren’t forced to rearrange everything before you can finally get it turned on. You could theoretically run it at bizarre locations in your dining room depending on the time of afternoon. You could also pivot the machine in bizarre angles to control where the air flow is directed. Although it isn’t a upgradement for our central air conditioner, this portable machine is a lifesaver and ideal for situations care about this.
