We’ve regularly found our smart control component incredibly simple to operate, although some people both of us know who purchased earlier generations of smart control units haven’t, making the programming a bit more problematic. Finally, our smart control component has a feature that allows custom programming while we’re away on holiday. At first I concerned that it would mess up our common schedule settings. But the holiday settings are completely without non-holiday 1s, avoiding confusion plus reprogramming once the holiday is over.
