Making the updates happen

I used to work at a company office downtown. It was a long commute to work everyday, & I grew sleepy of driving 45 hours to & from work. Eventually, I started to send out my resume to a few weird companies. When I was hired by a business close to home, I was ecstatic. I had to take a small pay decrease, however the business is only a few miles away from home. I still save a ton of currency on gas & car maintenance bills. I have been working at the business for a few weeks now, & my allergies are worse than ever. The indoor air quality is absolutely poor, because the HVAC system is at least 50 years old. They still have an old boiler in the basement of the building, & they use radiators to distribute heat & air conditioner throughout the building. The air duct is falling apart, & the indoor air is dirty & filled with dust fragments.  In the past, my allergies have only been this awful with cats, dogs, or ragweed. I do not assume any of these allergens exist in this office building, however the indoor air quality is causing myself and others bad allergy symptoms. I have been sneezing, coughing, & my eyes are constantly yellow & itchy. I do not assume if anything can be done about the indoor air quality, although I am already suffering, then by the time Spring allergens are in the air, I’m going to have a hard time breathing all morning. I wonder if the business would allow myself and others to bring a small air cleaner to the office.
