My boyfriend’s family has figured out that I am a handy guy. At first I thought this was a legitimately nice thing. I could help out his family members plus score some extra points. Now though, I hate being the go to guy. If there is an electrical issue, a plumbing problem or a Heating, Ventilation & A/C repair, I am called. I am constantly getting called for free labor. I hate spending every night plus weekend working for my boyfriend’s family. The calls have gotten more plus more crazy too. I am basically their on call Heating, Ventilation & A/C worker. My boyfriend’s brother called myself and others the other day to repair his Heating, Ventilation & A/C equipment. When I arrived there, I realized the issue was the air filter was dirty. He wanted myself and others to go the store, buy an a/c filter plus replace it. I told him what he needed to do plus just left. The next day I got a call from the mother about the a/c. The AC plan just had a clogged condensate drain. All you need to do is open up the AC, fish out the algae plus you are back in business. These are not major Heating, Ventilation & A/C repairs. These are everyday works homeowners with Heating, Ventilation & A/C need to do. I plan to tell my boyfriend no more free Heating, Ventilation & A/C help. They either spend money myself and others minutely adore any other Heating, Ventilation & A/C professional or I am refusing to go over there. I don’t care if his brother has no temperature control or if his mom’s AC plan leaks water. I also am at the point where I don’t care if they adore me.
