I am the owner of more than one playful & energetic black labs. No matter what the whether, you can bet that every one of us are outside either playing fetch or taking a nice long walk. Without this playtime outside, my cats catch lake house fever particularly swiftly! I have l gained to endure whatever Mother Nature throws at me in order to make my cats cheerful. Winter playtime is just as substantial as Summer playtime, but one thing is for sure – both can be, to an extent, dangerous for the cats. My labs love the snow, but too much snow & coldness can hurt their paws. Too much sun & heat can make them particularly dehydrated & overheated. If it weren’t for my air conditioner, my cats could have been in grave danger this past summer. My neighborhood had record-chopping high temperatures & almost everyone was cautioned to stay inside & to keep all pets inside as well, due to the dangers of the heat. However, since my cats need their exercise, I needed to take them out for a walk after a couple of days of staying inside… Little did I know, it was not the best afternoon for it, & I came lake house with more than one drained & dehydrated cats. Since every one of us have central air conditioning, our cool condo was the reason my cats were able to bounce back so swiftly from what the heat outside had done to them. Without an air conditioner, my family & cats would not be able to stay healthy all summer. Cooling systems are something that all dog owners should invest in. With the technology of today, there is no reason to make your cats (and yourself) suffer through the long Summer heat. Without an Heating & Air Conditioning system, my cats & I wouldn’t be able to get in our quarterly exercise safely!
