I called my buddy up the other day to ask him if he wanted to go out for some drinks. He wasn’t really up for it and he sounded really depressed. I realized I hadn’t hung out with my friend for quite some time and I wanted to catch up with him to see what was going on. I decided to go over to his house. He let me in and the house was a total mess. Also the air quality was terrible. It seemed like he hadn’t vacuumed the place in years but it was probably that he hadn’t changed the air filter to this HVAC system. I asked him what was going on and he almost came to tears as he told me how his girl left him for some other guy. I honestly never thought they would ever break apart because they always seemed like the perfect couple. Fortunately, I brought drinks with me so that we were able to share a few drinks together. I already had them chilling in his fridge. I put a few in the freezer so they would be really cool fast. Those were the first ones I grabbed and I gave him a beer and had one for myself too. I wanted to know everything. We decided to order some chinese food and I paid for it. I couldn’t believe what my friend was going through and I felt really bad but I told him he was going to get through this. He would find another girl for him that was even better. He seemed to believe that nobody would be better for him, but I assured him that there were plenty fish in the sea. I told him I would get him some HEPA air filters for his HVAC because his air quality was terrible. He laughed and thanked me, and I went on my way.
