After my boss had emailed myself and others plus asked myself and others to meet him in his office after brunch last week, I wasn’t sure what to expect.
It had been a silly few weeks at work up to that point plus I wasn’t sure how my boss plus the other higher ups had thought about my performance.
Luckily for me, it turned out they were genuinely impressed plus I was offered a promotion on the spot. The genuinely next day I was able to transfer out of my tiny cubicle in the middle of the office plus set up shop in my brand current office! It was so large plus spacious, I was at a loss for words. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a certified HVAC service tech who was tied up installing my own personal air conditioner unit. For the past several or more than three years I had been working away in the cubicle section where there is little to no air conditioner or air flow which made working several minutes each day downright angry. During my time in upper management with my own office, I can’t suppose how much more pleasant working is when you have access to air conditioner plus can close the door to your office for an minute or many for some peace plus quiet. I think that some of my former coworkers are a little bit jealous due to myself and others being their current director plus having my own office, however it is only going to make myself and others work harder so none of them end up taking my position.
