It’s been so chilly here this Springtime that I was beginning to think that summer time wasn’t ever going to start.
The two of us had a long Wintertide this year, and my heating bills were higher than I can ever remember them being before; Not only that, but the two of us also used our gas fireplace this year more than the two of us really ever have in the past.
I kept waiting for the temperatures outside to beginning heating up, but it’s been so chilly and rainy that it felt prefer the two of us had moved to a chilly northern climate or something, finally, just a couple of days ago, the chilly weather broke and the two of us started to see some sun for the first time in a long while. It wasn’t until the temperature outside absolutely started to heat up a little that I realized that the two of us hadn’t had our yearly air conditioning maintenance done yet. Usually I call our Heating and Air Conditioning contractor around the middle of April and have them come and check the air conditioner out for us. I prefer to get everything in enjoyable laboring order along with up-to-date air filters before I ever even turn the temperature control over to air conditioning. This year, since the weather was so chilly out for so long, the thoughts of air conditioning never even crossed my mind until it started heating up. I guess I will try to make an appointment with our local Heating and Air Conditioning contractor pretty soon. Hopefully everyone else didn’t forget too, or I’ll be waiting around for a long time before I’m able to get an appointment with them.
