The hotel wasn’t that far away, about 20 minutes, however when I realized the cooling system wasn’t working, that 20 minutes suddenly felt like it was 20 hours instead. The sun was shining directly into our windshield making it where I could barely see, as well as heating me up until I felt like I was frying under the sun. The entire time I was gleeful to see the hotel as well as get some cooling air again, when I finally was at the 20 minute mark, I didn’t see any hotel. It turns out I made a wrong turn, as well as had to wait an extra 10 minutes to figure out where the hotel was, finally, after 30 minutes of dripping with sweat to death as well as leaving a human shaped sweat print in the motorcar seat, I made it to the hotel. I took our sweet time fixing those TVs, because the a/c felt entirely amazing in the hotel, I was particularly dreading going back to our van as well as making the drive all the way back, however especially since I knew I would be without an cooling system for a while.
