My hubby moved down south for labor and I moved with him, but I labor from the beach apartment so I was cheerful.
It worked out for us that way.
I was excited to have warmer winters and sincerely I didn’t mind moving, but what I didn’t consider was all of the pollen in the south. The north has their honorable share of pollen too but the pollen season only lasts a few months… Down south, the pollen season lasts 9 months out of the years… Additionally, I am not used to the trees, grasses, and flowers in the south so I am angry. I try to stay indoors as much as possible if I can. There are entire days where I don’t go outside at all. And yet, our pollen irritations are still terrible. I use a strong air filter and we run the air conditioner almost non stop… You have to go this far south, however, I am starting to feel that we need more than just strong air filters in the heating, ventilation, and A/C system. I feel we might need air purification help from an actual heating, ventilation, and A/C dealer. I was studying that heating and cooling professionals know a lot about air purification, then occasionally it is something as straight-forward as cleaning the duct system that makes all of the difference. Other times, air cleaners may be in order. I have looked up prices for both of those options and a single is actually cheaper than the other. However, I am willing to do whatever it takes for myself and others to feel better. It is either that, or we leave this high-paying task and move back up north.
