I have been working as a housekeeper at a hotel for about a year now. For the most part, I don’t mind the job, but sometimes I get creeped out. There is this particular hallway that entirely seems to be haunted. I honestly never even believed in ghosts before I started working at this place. In the beginning, I thought the A/C system in one of the rooms was too high, but then I learned that it was at 71 degrees. For some reason, the room was extremely freezing. I have seen too many things though in my time working here. I have seen people in the corner of my eye, but when I look nobody is there. I have always seen chairs rolling around the room at times. I even have been in rooms where the temperature control would change without anybody messing with the thermostat. I could only assume that the spirits in the hotel learned how to manipulate the temperature control settings. I alway tell my boss that I don’t want to work in that hallway, but sometimes I still get stuck working there. I don’t like that spooky feeling I get and I know when a room becomes freezing suddenly, it’s usually because there is a spirit in the room or one has cranked up the A/C system. Honestly now, if i still have to continue working in the haunted section of the hotel, I’m going to have to get a different job. I just don’t like having to deal with that kind of thing in my life when I have enough stress already.
