It hurts when it appears that a person is taking a shot at something you love.
And when I first met our real estate professional, that’s exactly how it felt. The entire walk through of our home was a list of what had to change before it went on the market. And it stung. By the time that this realtor was denigrating our Heating, Ventilation plus A/C equipment, I had about enough. I had to excuse myself or I was going to be inappropriate with my response. This was more personal than professional and I knew that. So I didn’t want to make a fool of myself or rip somebody trying to do their task. But I was also truthfully at odds with her classification of our Heating, Ventilation plus A/C equipment. For 1, it was barely a decade old. It was also state of the art when we bought it. Granted, Heating, Ventilation plus A/C technology has changed in the past decade plus. But I also made sure that heating and cooling unit has consistent Heating, Ventilation plus A/C repair with the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C repair system provided by our Heating, Ventilation plus A/C company. Apparently, the realtor must have caught my drift. When she returned a few days later, she was packing all kinds of comps and other data on heating and cooling equipment. Plus, she had a much weird approach that came from a location of respect and that was much loved. This has been our home for 30 plus years and it’s not easy selling it. However, I will say that she is unequivocally proper about replacing the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C unit with new. The numbers and final sale prices just don’t lie.
