I can remember scoffing at the idea of laboring remotely. For 1, I didn’t want to work at home because I had always worked in an office. Then there was the fact that we had such a nice office with zone controlled Heating, Ventilation plus A/C. When our company started offering the remote laboring choice a few years ago, it was a taxing pass for me. Of course, then the pandemic happened and none of us were enjoying the zone controlled Heating, Ventilation plus A/C in our offices. For me, the laboring from home routine wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be. Sure, it was sort of difficult to adjust to laboring at home in my own air conditioner instantly. But soon, I figured it out. Since my entire family was at home in the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C with me, I had to find a dedicated space where I could work. To my wife’s chagrin, I took over the guest room. And this made for a honestly nice office space where I could have the privacy and quiet to do my work. To my amazement, the quality of my work was the best it had ever been and I was easily hitting all of my goals. That hadn’t ever happened at the office. So when the offices reopened a few months ago, I chose to stay laboring remotely from my family room. This change provided me the motivation to add the crowning touch to my condo office. This is great for me and the rest of the family as I like things a bit cooler.
