Trying to placate our homeowner’s association over Heating, Ventilation plus A/C

I’m a honestly reasonable human being.

  • Some might say a tad too reasonable or at least I’ve heard that at times.

It’s true that I can take some intense stuff in stride while seemingly unperturbed. But, it’s a lot like a duck on a lake. The duck looks serene on the surface as their feet are paddling like crazy. However, a recent Heating, Ventilation plus A/C situation has caused me to nearly lose that stride and composure. It all started when I got some nasty grams taped to my door from the HOA. They were honestly threatening and overly aggressive in tone. I was surprised. I was also not impressed that someone who tape a note to my door instead of simply addressing any Heating, Ventilation plus A/C concern with me directly. Or at least be formal and professional enough to mail you note. The concern is the fact that we had an overzealous landscaper who whacked a privacy hedge a bit too much. So from a honestly singular angle, the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C unit can be viewed from the street. And the HOA is evidently ready to confrontation me in the yard over it. I sent letters to HOA board members and got zero reply. And then, the HOA compliance officer literally and aggressively confronted me in my own front yard as I was retrieving the mail. That was all the composure I had left to just turn my back on this guy. So, it’s now going over to my better half who deals with people like this for a living. She’s a honestly aggressive attorney who simply can’t wait to make this the huge deal that the HOA thinks they want. And that’s too bad for the HOA as I suppose how that lady rolls and it’s going to be rough for them.
