- As a matter of fact, it might already be too late if you haven’t started to work on it already! That’s because all of the supplies needed for such things as fireplace products and building projects have been on backorder and delayed for so long over the past year and half.
All of the dumb shutdowns have really been causing all kinds of problems for people in the heating and cooling industry, along with the fireplace industry. You just can’t get the products that you want in a reasonable time frame these days and I blame it all on the shutdowns that probably should never have even happened in the first place. I guess I’m just a little bit bitter about the whole thing because I was supposed to be having all of my new heating and cooling system installed in my new house and it’s been literally months longer than it should have been to get the work done. It’s not my HVAC contractor’s fault, either. He ordered everything on time and he’s been doing everything by the book that he can. The issue has come with the actual HVAC suppliers and the fireplace suppliers because they have just been unable to get the proper materials for my HVAC products. It’s beyond annoying. I feel like I’ve been really patient, but I’m getting to the point where I’m losing all of my patience on this whole thing!
