When I was at work last week, I was curious and looked at the bulletin board to see what was going on.
- There were various announcements and different events that were being planned.
Then there was this advertisement about a company that buys old HVAC systems. I had actually been talking with my wife about how old our HVAC system was and I told her I wished we could just sell it and get a new one. Well, here was this advertisement saying they would pay top dollar for used HVAC equipment. When I called the number, I spoke with a nice guy who said it was all legit. He said they actually took old HVAC systems and restored them and in many cases they would salvage the parts that were actually rather valuable. Well, I wasn’t trying to sell HVAC parts myself because I don’t know what’s valuable and what’s not. But I did have the guy come look at my HVAC to tell me how much he would pay for it. He seemed happy when looking at the HVAC and gave me an amount that I was surprised about. I couldn’t believe he was willing to pay me so much money, and he would remove the HVAC for me as well. I went for the deal! Before I knew it, I was having a new ductless mini split installed via the professionals and I was so happy we were finally getting a modern HVAC system that was highly energy efficient. Seriously, the SEER rating for the cooling system is 24 and that’s phenomenal!
