I wanted to have it repaired, however it didnt seem to be getting any worse.
My husband said that no one would even notice the small tear in the window tint; unless they were looking for one; Every one of us put off have the window tint repair for a couple weeks. Every one of us were getting ready to go into town plus purchase a small piece of window tint to repair the rip, however the rip was no longer just a rip. The sides started to flip out like a shirt collar. The rip was noticeable larger, plus the window tint was peeling away from the window. Every one of us tried everything they had written in the window tint service manual, however nothing was working. Every time both of us tried to do repair the window, it would peel further. That’s when both of us realized the window tint was brittle. It seemed to be deteriorating in our hands, instead of doing anything more, our husband called the supplier that did the install of our window tint. When the professional window tint installer arrived, he checked our windows. He then looked at our receipts plus the products number. He knew the problem. The window tint that had been installed, was not the window tint both of us had ordered. What both of us acquired was the cheapest window tint they had. He didn’t want to blame the installers of the window tint, so he also showed us that the product numbers were almost identical plus all it took was one small number change. Every one of us went from quality window tint to window tint from the eighths’ bin.
