I visited my goddaughter a few weeks ago, and something inspiring happened.
I helped her through the pregnancy, and our bond has grown deeper.
When Kayla was born, my associate proposed that I be her godparent… Kayla and I are inseparable. I visit at least every few weeks. I passed by the local toy shop and bought her many toys. I sat on the floor and played with her while chatting with my friend. The condo seemed a little hot, and upon inquiry, my associate said she was waiting for cooling techs to come help with indoor comfort since the mini cut air conditioner had malfunctioned that afternoon. The cooling specialist finally arrived, and the senior cooling representative was a woman. The scene was not new to myself and others since I have worked in the cooling industry for several years, but our cooling corporation recently got a new director of operations, and she is a woman. My goddaughter was so excited to see this woman climb up the ladder to the attic to examine the cooling equipment. For the next two hours, my goddaughter asked the team a million questions about their tools, gear, and every step they took in the air conditioning service process. My goddaughter was so keen on what the professionals were doing that you would have thought she was studying more about air conditioning. The professionals fixed the quality air conditioner and restored indoor comfort. I had regularly emphasized to my associate to ensure common schedule tune-ups for her Heating, Ventilation and A/C equipment, but being a new mother with a lot on her plate, she would forget most times. At dinner, my goddaughter declared that she would be a cooling woman laboring on air conditioners when she grew up.
