When my mother started complaining about the harsh heat in the summertime I bought her a window a/c; At the time I thought I was making a smart move, and she needed the AC to sleep at night due to menopause, the window AC provided a small remote that she could turn it on plus off if she wanted. She could lower the temperature plus up the fan speed, but my mother enjoyed it, then i realized that I locked myself in a task twice a year! One time I was called to bring the AC unit down from the attic plus install it. The next time I get called to detach the cooling unit plus bring it back to the attic since it is the Wintertide season. It got annoying since my mother wasn’t entirely patient, however when she wanted the AC in a modern spot, she was all over me. I started looking for something that could stay in her room all year. I found a ductless mini cut to be the best option. Now her Heating & Air Conditioning unit is mounted on an exterior wall. She still has a remote to change the temperature. Instead of just AC, it provides heating too. So my mother no longer needs to detach it with seasonal changes. The mini cut is significantly more powerful too. If my mother wanted, she could open her door plus supply adequate temperature control to the whole first floor of the house. She just likes her modern machine. I love that I do not need to mess with her Heating & Air Conditioning needs anymore.
