I used to consider myself fairly expertiseable when it came to HVAC care.
I’m not talking about HVAC professional level expertise of equipment, however enough to take official care of the heating and a/c. Things like A/C tune ups and air filter replacements I completely understand. However, I feel there are some things that I still need to learn about, such as air duct cleaning. My last appointment with a HVAC worker made me aware of this, when he truly asked about my air duct. I had complained about my household being heated unevenly, and the A/C specialist was suspecting it was an air duct issue. He then told me about air duct cleanings, in addition to it was then I realized I have never once had my air ducts cleaned. I instantly had an appointment tied up for air duct cleaning. It truly took a whole team of heating and A/C specialists to scrub out my air duct, and one of them noticed a few holes that were truly the cause of the uneven heating and cooling. So after air duct sealing and cleaning, my household felt fresher and better than ever. I am so delighted that the cooling specialist asked about my air duct. You learn something new every afternoon, and I learned that it is important to take care of your air duct. I have a feeling that air duct cleaning is going to be a part of my HVAC maintenance schedule.
