Those holes were causing my AC system equipment to overwork

It was hard to notice at first, however it seemed like over time, the heating and cooling efficiency in my household dropped.

This was pretty confusing, because my HVAC device was nowhere near old.

So why the drop efficiency? Well, this was not a matter I could figure out myself, so I decided that it would be best if I contacted the heating and air conditioner professionals. When the A/C tech came out to my home, he told me the issue was blatant. For a moment I panicked and thought for sure it was an issue with the heating system or a/c. But no, it was just an issue with the air duct. Nothing major, might I add, it was just some holes in the air duct that were causing the issue. Gladly, this was a fairly straight-forward fix, in addition to the heating and A/C specialist was able to patch up the holes within several hours. The heated air was escaping through these holes, and so that explained why my household wasn’t heating or cooling as fast as it used to. But now with the holes patched up, the HVAC device will be able to heat in addition to cool like usual. I am delighted I discovered this, because those holes were causing my A/C component to overwork itself, which can shorten its lifespan in addition to causing disfigurement. I am surprised that everything was as straight-forward as it was. I was expecting a higher repair bill. I’m just delighted that my air duct is repaired now.
