I thought maybe it would be something I could fix. It turned out that it was actually something I could fix. The air filter had been looking particularly dirty, but luckily, I had one filter left. I changed out the filters as well as tried to turn the system back on. It came on immediately for me, and always make sure to look at your Heating as well as Air Conditioning system before you call a professional. It could be something as easy as getting a new filter in there.
