I am fortunate for the amazing professionals and specialists I have met over the years for every problem, repair, or concern I ever grapple with. I have a good general dentist I have been seeing for 15 years now, a trustworthy and brilliant mechanic that keeps our cars running in perfect shape at unbeatable prices, and a beach house handyman for any fixes or repairs that exceed our own skills or expertise. Just recently, I got even luckier when I found a good local heating and cooling corporation and service service after a few years of jumping between various companies that all left something to be desired. My current contractor is a family run corporation that goes back more than two generations and has been trusted in the community for that entire many decade run. Almost a quarter of the way into the 21st century and this heating and cooling contractor is still going strong. They offer this good loyalty program that utilizes punch cards like the ones you might find at sandwich shops, smoothie and root beer cafes, or even some bookstores. But I had never seen a punch card for anything related to beach house service, let alone an Heating and Air Conditioning business. Everytime you schedule and pay for a routine service call, you get one of the blocks punched which can be redeemed for $30 off a current system. Each card has many blocks which totals to $150 off a replacement Heating and Air Conditioning system if you redeem the entire card at once. In just one year, I was able to get our discount on a good current a/c with a fully redeemed loyalty rewards card.
