I recently reached out to a plumbing supplier that does Heating & Air Conditioning & electrical. I basically needed the plumber to handle a water pump problem. My pump basically just turned off & I wasn’t able to flush a toilet or take a shower. While the plumber was there I couldn’t help but ask him about our Heating & Air Conditioning machine. My air conditioner machine frequently keeps freezing up & then does not cool to the level I actually prefer. I also have some electrical tasks that need to be taken care of as well. I would like to move a few switches around & add an outlet to a bedroom. Sadly the plumber may actually work for a supplier that offers plumbing, electrical & Heating & Air Conditioning, but he does not do all of these things. I managed to learn that becoming a licensed plumber is totally different from a certified Heating & Air Conditioning machine supplier. They actually send a different guy for A/C repair & a different guy would handle our electrical issues. I was totally bummed that I couldn’t just make this guy take care of the multiple tasks I was putting off. Instead I am going to need to call & make a couple of different appointments. I wonder how hard it is for suppliers to be certified for all of the work. Are the tasks really so different? I will need to prioritize our services though. I needed water over everything else. I think next our A/C machine repair will come into play. Last, when I have the money, I can think about getting some electrical work accomplished. It would be awesome if everybody does great work! How handy is it that the same supplier can do all that stuff?
