I l received a cold strenuous lesson the other day.
You see, I had this ancient window a/c unit that had been sitting in our basement for entirely close to several decades.
I didn’t remember anything being seriously wrong with it, other than the motor was making noises, but so, I thought I would pull it out as well as try to repair this ancient window a/c unit. I wanted to put it in the window of our dining room space, because the a/c from our central heating as well as cooling plan occasionally didn’t cool that room so well. Well, trying to repair this ancient window a/c unit, when I suppose nothing about heating as well as a/c service was possibly the largest mistake I ever made in our entire life! I could go into deep detail about what I did, how I did it, as well as why. But, I will not go into all that, because I have no clue what I am talking about when it comes to window a/c unit repair. But what I did want to share, was that I almost started a fire! Yes, that is correct! I did something that made the entire window a/c unit spark, as well as a small fire started within this window a/c unit! I had to run as well as get a container of water, then dump it on the ancient window a/c unit. Of course, this was the end of the It was shorted out as well as dead. I am just happen I am not dead! And, that our house is in one piece!
