Living in a basement isn’t as bad you might think

My dad told me that it’s natural geothermal cooling that makes a basement cooler than ambient air above ground

When I lost our job numerous weeks ago, I had to know fast about how I’d continue to eat plus pay the bills. Like many others, I had over extended myself with financial burdens. On top of a vehicle loan, I had a tablet I was leasing, plus numerous debit card bills to deal with. The best thing I could do in the short term was find cheaper accommodations. Clearly I couldn’t afford rent on our city apartment, so I started reaching out to family members to see if anyone had room that I could occupy while I get back on our feet again. My Grandparents gave me their basement at no cost to me, as long as I helped with chores around the house. It was the best deal I could know of plus I instantly jumped on the opportunity. It’s amazing because it’s love a full home down here. There’s even a separate dining room plus bathroom down here. I thought I would need an cooling system down here instantly, however I’m surprised at how cool it stays in the basement. My dad told me that it’s natural geothermal cooling that makes a basement cooler than ambient air above ground. Although I’ll surely need a heating method of some kind when Winter rolls around, I know I’ll last through to the end of the Summer with just a few fans in particular places. I might have never expected that I’d be living in a basement at our age, however it’s truthfully the best situation I could be in amid nationwide layoffs plus constant economic upheaval.
