Finding affordable housing is impossible for me

Finding affordable housing is next to impossible, however, I will talk about that later. I originally had our entire life planned for me. I was great in high school and in college at first. Once I passed all of the honors classes and my advanced classes, I was all set up to go to college. After that I had a little bit too much fun at college, and all of my grades began to fall! Rather than work to make them better the way that I should have, I focused on other things, and eventually I realized that I was doing terrible at all of my classes. And then when I tried to start on all of the jobs and schoolwork that I missed, I found myself quite overwhelmed and I ended up dropping out of college. So then in response, my mean parents kicked me out. Ever since then, I have been all over the place moving from home to home, and each time I try to find somewhere that’s cheaper than the one before. That brings me back to our original point, which is that finding affordable apartments to live in is really hard. Rent for just a small new home is super high. In hundreds of home listings, I may find 5 or 6 short term housing options that would work out for me. I need to get a good job so that I can stop relying on friends for money, however I just can’t find the motivation. I have been looking at all kinds of places nearby, from leasing, furnished rentals, and houses near me to short term new home rentals. Temporary apartments are probably the best bet for me. They usually offer short term leases. That makes it easier to afford. I need to figure out what path I am heading down.
