I got my house ready for winter

Now that air conditioner season is over, my partner and I are looking at not just taking the window A/C units out, however having them upgraded.  The two of us were talking about getting a couple current cooling systems. The two of us found quite a few odd models, that are highly energy efficient.  The cost of the window cooling systems, when every one of us add up for more than three big rooms, isn’t much less than if every one of us got a central air conditioner.  The two of us seriously considered this route. The deterring factor was that every one of us didn’t have ductwork in our home. With a boiler system, there is no need for ductwork.  The boiler supplies heat, through a series of water pipes that lead to baseboard heat units. If you have central air conditioner, there needs to be ductwork for the cooled air to travel through.  The two of us now had to scrap that plan and return to the current window A/C units. The wonderful thing about the newest A/C units was that every one of us could now purchase a window equipment that had the air purification plan and the dehumidifier built right in.  None of our aged units had this option. There was a temperature control that regulated the air, and it was made to also control the humidity. I liked the air cleaner. I have harsh allergy and as terrible as they may be in the winter, while in the summer, they get even worse.  There will be no need for ugly air cleaners or dehumidifier resting around the house. It will be an all in a single unit, complete with our window cooling system.
