One of my favorite times of the year is the 4th of July. I love to go out there and celebrate the birth of this nation. There is nothing like the delicious food off the grill and spending quality time with family. I love to go watch the fireworks but I have to say, I don’t care for the intense heat and humidity. I also can’t stand the mosquitos but I do this every year because I enjoy the fireworks so much. I always use bug spray and set up those citronella candles around the house to minimize the bug bites. I have heard of various types of cooling systems for the outdoors like those misting sprayers. I might consider getting something like that for being outdoors in the summer months. It would be nice to get a cooling system that I could have for my patio, but I’m not sure if I could afford something that was very efficient. The best thing I can do is to keep up with my HVAC system in my household. When I keep up with the regular maintenance and service to the system, I never have to worry about the air conditioning breaking down. When I need a break from the heat, I simply go inside and I become nice and cool again. I’m getting older now so I think I might just start having the firework shows at home. We can purchase a bunch of firework packs and just light them up outside. Then I won’t have to worry about all the traffic after these huge shows in the city. This way I can also retreat to my cooling system in my home when I have to. I think that sounds like a pretty great idea.
