Soda fountains were a dying fad, even when I was growing up, although I still remember some pretty good times that I had there in the one that my small neighborhood still had up and running. I find it hilarious that it’s a bar now, although I suppose that has not too crazy, and especially considering that I still visit now and again! Well there is one good reason why I visited it so often as a child and teenager and why I still continue to come inside now and again for a drink. Their temperature control plan was and is one of the best in town… Seriously, on a sizzling Summer afternoon there was a reason why everyone went to that root beer fountain when I was a kid. It was not just for the cool refreshing sodas and ice creams, but for the cool and refreshing a/c plan that always seemed to be running at max. I legitimately marveled at the fact that it was always running so well, and I figured that the owners were undoubtedly careful about maintaining it. I suppose it’s a undoubtedly important area of running a successful watering hole, whether you’re serving ice cream and root beer or beers: people come there to cool off and relax. Well, they got that area of their supplier plan down pat, let me tell you! I even had my first date at that root beer fountain! Despite the excellent a/c, that was pretty much the only time I was covered in sweat profusely in there despite myself!
