I desperately want to have Heating plus A/C zone control in my house. I live with various other people in the home. All of us all have our own rooms plus own Heating plus A/C preferences, then certain people want heating all year while others seem absurd for AC. Deciding on one centralized temperature has gotten to be such a pain. It is prefer World War III by the thermostat on the wall, but every hour someone is increasing the temperature plus irritating the other occupants in the house. All of us can’t agree on how much heating plus air is good for the season. The Heating plus A/C plan is not going to last if it always has to adjust to a up-to-date temperature. The swings have been so big that the Heating plus A/C has literally switched from AC to heating plus back to a/c again. I guess adding zone control will lessen the tension. I would need to get a ductless mini chop for the house. Then every room would get an indoor air handler plus smart thermostat to run the temperature in that unique room. Each person in the condo could decide on the heating plus air in their bedroom. The issue is that the residing room, home office plus bathroom would have their own component too. Either the two of us would need to take turns on who controls those rooms or all agree on those hot plus cold temperatures. Maybe people will be more likely to compromise since their bedrooms will be the right hot plus cold temperatures. I know I won’t care as much about the home office temperature if I get heating at night while I sleep.
