Late last December was on a numerous fourth road trip to our parents house when I had a undoubtedly frightening and extreme accident happen. It was late into the night while I was driving, and the roads where becoming dangerously slick with ice and snow. I ended up sliding off the road and getting stuck in a ditch separate from a vehicle nearby to see what had happened. Not only was the crash frightening, however the impact damaged the vehicle and I wasn’t even able to keep the heating unit on while in this chilly night; Luckily for myself and others however, I have a hubby who is always thinking of safety first. My hubby always keeps water, blankets, and a mini portable heating gas heating system I had gotten from the Heating and Air Conditioning heating and cooling corporation nearby in the backseat in case of any dangerous events such as this a single happens when you don’t have access to any proper heating when you are needing help! Because I knew I was safe with our heating unit and extra supplies, I was able to not panic and simply call the police and tell them our location. It only took thirty minutes or so for help to arrive and get myself and others out of that ditch. A few fourths later I was sent on our way in a rental vehicle the next day. Take it from somebody who has experience living in the chilly and unforgiving north, make sure to prepare for the worst by always having an extra heating unit and water supplies when you are living or visiting up here. It just might save your life, I think it might have saved mine!
