I was definitely excited when I was looking for a new house to buy. I remember talking with my grandfather about it and he actually offered me some valuable advice. He said if I remember one thing, I must remember to take proper care of the HVAC system in my new home. He said that is the life of the home, the climate control system. He said if you had a climate control system that was malfunctioning or breaking down, life would be miserable. He told me I especially didn’t want my climate control system to fail me during the extreme weather seasons. He said the summer would be extremely uncomfortable without the air conditioning. He told me that the winter would probably kill me because I would freeze to death without a working heating system. He advised that I get tune ups every year, just before the extreme weather seasons. I thought this was really great advice, and honestly I didn’t even think about the HVAC system maintenance while I have been looking at different properties. I think I’m going to have to pay special attention to the HVAC systems moving forward. I definitely want something that’s not terribly old and that runs well and has been properly taken care of. I’m glad I have somebody in my life like that who offers me great advice when I need it. If my grandfather wasn’t telling me about that, I might have ended up with a house that had a very lousy HVAC system. I hope I end up with something nice like radiant heated floors.
