I knew when I first started up the oil furnace that there was a problem with it. The whole condo reeked of burnt hair. There was a superb deal of dust floating around plus the heating plan was rather noisy. It made a rattling sound every time it started up. I should have called for professional service immediately. I planned to do it, however I got tied up with other things plus simply forgot. My father suffered a heart attack plus was in the hospital. My hubby was away from home, traveling for his work, plus my 3 youngsters were all just getting back to school. There was no choice but to run the oil furnace. I realized that it was running for harshly long cycles but struggling to keep the condo warm. I still did nothing about it until the oil furnace completely quit. Since it failed in the middle of the night, I got stuck paying a higher fee for overtime service, fortunately, the Heating plus A/C specialist was able to service the oil furnace. He told myself and others that the malfunction was caused by a buildup of dust within the inner finally workings plus could actually have been avoided with professional repair in the fall. Neglecting the care of the oil furnace ended up costing myself and others a lot of money.
